Bodegraven Cheese Museum

The Cheese Museum shows the history of cheese in Bodegraven. The farmer’s cheese from Gouda and the surrounding area is world famous, but it’s a lesser known fact that almost all of this cheese is stored in Bodegraven. It is estimated that around 20 million kilograms of cheese are stored in Bodegraven-Reeuwijk. The museum uses a range of objects, books and films to show how the dairy farmers make their cheese. Young people can follow their own interactive tour with a cheese tablet in hand.
